Week of Welcome is a week-long event that combines academic, educational, developmental, and social programming to provide a solid foundation for new and returning students. The programming will focus on helping students meet basic needs on campus, make connections with fellow students, faculty, and staff, prepare for the academic year, establish their social identity, and transition into life as a WSU student.
This year, Week of Welcome will be August 13 – 22. Any questions about the Week of Welcome schedule can be sent to New Student Programs at firstname.lastname@example.org.

Submit a Week of Welcome Event
New Student Programs is centralizing all of our WOW activities inside of our new student engagement software Presence. If you would like to have an event that is not a WOW anchor program and would like to be included on the WOW schedule, please identify a member of your team who will register for the event. Then have that individual complete the Department Access Request form. Following the completion of that form, this person will be given access and instructions about how to register an event in presence for WOW. All events must be registered by July 30.
