Week of Welcome Washington State University

COMPLETE MANDATORY PROGRAMMING

COUGAR HEALTH SERVICES MANDATORY PROGRAMS

All incoming and transfer undergraduate students are required to complete the following mandatory programs during the Weekend of Welcome. Fill out the registration survey to schedule a time to attend these virtual programs.

  • Count on Cougs: A bystander intervention program specifically developed for our WSU community (live-streamed Zoom sessions during the Week of Welcome)
  • eCHECKUP TO GO (eCHUG): This online, confidential survey allows students to receive personalized feedback about the impacts of alcohol and other drug use. First-year and transfer students under the age of 21 as of August 1 are required to complete eCHECKUP TO GO (eCHUG) during their first semester at WSU. This self-paced, interactive survey can be completed on your own time, but needs to be accomplished before the end of the semester.

If you have any questions, contact Health Promotion at cougarhealth.healthpromotion@wsu.edu.

FINAL ALIVE ORIENTATION COMPONENT – VIRTUAL RESOURCE SCAVENGER HUNT

All students are required to complete a campus resource scavenger hunt. To find the information needed to complete the scavenger hunt, please visit our website to learn about campus resources. Once you have reviewed the website, please complete your scavenger hunt survey to fulfill this requirement. Spring 2021 admitted students have until March 30 to complete this requirement. To ensure the safety of our Cougs and maintain Washington State University’s distance learning stance, this requirement can be completed from your home.
