All Campus Picnic

 

Each year New Student Programs host the Community Resource Fair at Dining Services’ All Campus Picnic.  Student meals are sponsored by Dining Services and the President’s Office. Faculty and staff are graciously sponsored by U.S. Bank. Last year over 5,000 participants celebrated the new academic year while enjoying a barbecue lunch, music and the community fair.  The 2018 All Campus Picnic is Friday, August 17 from 11:00 am to 1:30 pm. This year’s picnic will be located on Cougar Way (formerly Colorado Street).

How to Reserve a Table

Various organizations, community groups, student organizations, and departments have the ability to host a table at our community during the picnic. This is a great way to share information with new and returning students, faculty and staff. To reserve a table please fill out this form and submit it to New Student Programs by August 8, 2018. Please note that this is a zero waste event and coffee, tea, or pre-packaged commercial items are the only edible products allowed to be given out at community fair tables. All other giveaway items must be free of packaging. This year the picnic will be held on Cougar Way (formerly Colorado St) August 17, just after University Convocation.

Move-In Notice for August 17, 2018

Cougar Way will be closed between Stadium Way and D Street on Friday, August 17 from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. for the All Campus Picnic. During this time there will not be access to the parking lots or unloading zones next to Scott Coman Hall, Global Scholars Hall, Regents Hall, Northside Hall, Physical Education Building, Bohler Athletic Complex, Hollingbery Fieldhouse, Cougar Football Complex or in the Green 2 lot next to Smith Gym. Parking in the Holland & Terrell Library garage will be accessible from Colorado Street.
